About The Position

The Hub Project is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented associate to support our efforts to engage content creators and social media consumers across a variety of education and advocacy issues. As an Associate on the Strategy & Innovation team, you’ll play a key role in helping to plan and execute innovative creator events both virtual and in-person, managing databases, leading creator research, and assisting with social media social platforms. We’re looking for someone who understands the evolving digital landscape, gets excited about the latest trends in social and video, and is eager to explore new ways creators can influence public conversations and advance social causes.

Requirements

  • Experience working in digital, creator advocacy, organizing, or campaign-related fields.
  • Passion about the intersection of content creation, culture, and how they can shape public discourse.
  • Staying up-to-date on digital trends, emerging platforms, and conversations being shaped online.
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for storytelling and an interest in how content can drive social change.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and analytical even in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Some experience drafting social media content, graphic design and video editing.
  • Proactive with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated interest in progressive causes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the team in planning and executing successful virtual and in-person events.
  • Track content and monitor key conversations relevant to our advocacy work.
  • Research and vet creators and content.
  • Brainstorm innovative ideas to bring new creators into the issue education and advocacy space.
  • Assist in drafting social media content and design graphics.
  • Assist with day-to-day tasks, including email correspondence, updating creator database, and internal documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
