About The Position

Welcome to Brightline! We are searching for a highly analytical and execution-oriented Strategy & Growth Consultant (Contractor) for a 3-month engagement. This is a fast-moving, hands-on role that requires exceptional problem-solving, structured thinking, and the ability to turn data into actionable insights. Experience in healthcare—particularly digital health, payor models, or behavioral health—is strongly preferred. We are looking for a strategic, resourceful, and intellectually curious contributor who can jump in immediately, tackle high-impact analyses, and partner seamlessly with leadership. This contractor will play a meaningful role in shaping Brightline’s next phase of growth.

Requirements

  • Former strategy consultant strongly preferred (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG, LEK, Strategy&).
  • 4+ years of experience in strategy, corporate development, private equity, venture capital, or similar analytical roles.
  • Demonstrated experience building complex, dynamic financial models.
  • Strong market analysis skills, including TAM sizing and competitive mapping.
  • Deep familiarity with healthcare—especially behavioral health, payors, providers, digital care models, or value-based care.
  • Ability to distill complex data into crisp strategic insights and executive-ready storytelling.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight turnaround times.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in digital health, telehealth, or pediatric behavioral health.
  • Prior work supporting executive leadership teams.
  • Strong understanding of reimbursement models, payer contracting, or employer benefits.
  • Experience navigating ambiguous, rapidly changing strategic environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead financial modeling to evaluate growth opportunities, pricing strategies, channel expansion, and partnership scenarios.
  • Build and refine market sizing (TAM/SAM/SOM) to support strategic decisions and capital allocation.
  • Assess near-term and long-term growth pathways, including new product offerings, geographic expansion, and partnership opportunities.
  • Develop scenario analyses and sensitivity models to support executive decision-making.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research on pediatric mental health, digital health, and adjacent healthcare ecosystems.
  • Analyze competitive dynamics, emerging players, platform innovation, and evolving reimbursement trends.
  • Synthesize insights into strategic implications and recommendations for Brightline’s leadership team.
  • Work directly with the Chief Growth Officer and Executive Chair on top-priority initiatives.
  • Prepare clear, structured, executive-ready materials (slides, memos, models).
  • Collaborate with Finance, Product, Clinical, and Partnerships teams to validate assumptions, gather data, and align on strategy.
  • Support rapid-turnaround requests and special projects driven by leadership.
