About The Position

Create is hiring a Strategy & Analytics Lead to join our growing team, reporting to the Head of Data. This will be a critical and cross-functional role, synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data to answer the highest leverage questions we have as a business. The ideal candidate can get to the why behind the question and is resourceful in figuring out the how. From informing our product innovation roadmap to developing customer personas for marketing, your work will directly shape how Create makes its biggest decisions.

Requirements

  • Strong strategic problem solver: you can take an ambiguous, high-stakes business question and figure out how to actually answer it
  • Proficient in SQL and a modern BI tool (Omni or Looker experience is a strong plus) as the baseline toolkit
  • Experience designing and running primary research: surveys and customer interviews is a strong plus
  • Comfortable owning always-on programs (not just projects), e.g., NPS and post-purchase surveys
  • Experience with unstructured data analysis (reviews, NPS verbatims, CX transcripts)
  • Exceptional communicator who can translate data and direct customer input into a clear narrative for any audience
  • Thrives in ambiguity and building from a blank slate

Nice To Haves

  • DBT or backend data engineering experience is a bonus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Own high-impact, cross-functional business questions
  • Partner directly with Marketing, R&D, Ops, and Leadership to scope and prioritize business questions
  • Decide the best way to answer each question, and go do it: quantitative analysis, a survey, a customer interview, or a mix
  • Be a power user of our BI tool (Omni) as the toolkit to navigate our first party data with ease
  • Turn first-party data and direct customer input into clear, decision-ready and actionable narratives
  • Connect dots across the functional spectrum, proactively surfacing questions or trends not on anyone’s radar
  • Own our consumer insights function
  • Own and continuously improve our always-on survey programs — from post-purchase to NPS
  • Design and run ad hoc qualitative research as needed: customer interviews, panel studies, one-off surveys
  • Extract signal from unstructured sources like product reviews and CX conversations, and develop a repeatable way to turn that into structured, decision-ready intelligence

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation including salary and equity
  • Fully-paid health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Downtown Manhattan office (4 days in office), with flexible work setup and 15 days of PTO
