About The Position

The Strategy Analyst plays a key role in driving organizational strategy and business development by transforming internal and external data, operational insights, and market intelligence into strategic business plans, market/service line assessments, and other executive-ready materials that shape planning and growth initiatives. Working across clinical, operational, and administrative areas, the Strategy Analyst delivers the analytical depth, research support, and project coordination required to advance enterprise priorities, accelerate growth opportunities, and enhance internal decision‑making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Health Administration, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics or related (Required)
  • 2+ years experience within a hospital/healthcare system setting (preferably in a multi-site, matrixed organization) or clinical delivery environment (Required)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data retrieval, database management, data visualization, forecasting, and modeling (Required proficiency)
  • Ability to translate complex data and analysis into clear, actionable insights, and decision‑ready materials for non-financial audiences (Required proficiency)
  • Experience in developing reports, dashboards, KPIs, presentations, and written summaries that support strategic and business planning. (Required proficiency)
  • Solid project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment. (Required proficiency)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; able to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams. (Required proficiency)
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information. (Required proficiency)

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Health Administration (i.e. MHA/MHSA), Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH) or related (Preferred)
  • Experience with business intelligence and advanced analytic platforms (e.g. PowerBI, Alteryx), GIS platforms (e.g. ArcGIS), financial costing platforms (e.g. StrataJazz) and Epic. (Preferred proficiency)
  • Experience with business plan development, financial modeling and pro forma development. (Preferred proficiency)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for collecting and analyzing financial, market, and operational data from diverse data and information systems (e.g., Strata, Epic, external sources), and presenting findings to support Strategy and Planning priorities and decision-making.
  • Support market, financial, and business opportunity analyses and data requests in collaboration with the Institute, Service Line, and Entity/Market Operator leaders.
  • Support maintenance of Business Intelligence tools/reports, automated workflows and AI efficiencies as well as data integrity/quality for the department’s analytics platform.
  • Monitor national, regional, and local trends and creates, distributes, and/or presents intelligence reports to the relevant stakeholders, both within discrete projects and on a recurring basis.
  • Support developing models to uncover insights that help identify and analyze emerging market trends, patterns, and opportunities to further understand current performance and forecast potential future outcomes and scenarios.
  • Support development and presentation of market intelligence reports, dashboards, visualizations, etc., to advance easy-to-interpret strategy and business planning insights.
  • Develop strategic business plans, financial analysis/models, and pro forma projections to justify strategic growth initiatives and capital investment.
  • Learn, maintain, and aid in the team’s training and adoption of various tools and methodologies necessary for strategy development and activation.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
