About The Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven, curious and business minded individual to join our Corporate Strategy team in our Washington DC area HQ. The Strategy team works closely with senior leadership and is trusted to solve complex problems that will shape the future of the business. This individual will support various strategic project including market assessments, portfolio analysis, and competitive intelligence.

Requirements

An Associate's degree with 4+ years of Aerospace or Defense industry experience in marketing strategy
A Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of Aerospace or Defense industry experience in marketing strategy
A Master’s degree with 0 years of Aerospace or Defense industry experience in strategy or business development
A JD/PhD with 0 years of Aerospace or Defense industry experience in strategy or business development
In lieu of a degree, must have 6+ years of Aerospace or Defense industry experience in marketing strategy
Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
Must be a US Citizen

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of the autonomous aircraft market
Analytical ability to solve complex problems and apply appropriate solutions
Prior consulting experience
Aerospace & Defence industry experience

Responsibilities

Support Defence and Group Strategic Initiatives
Support market and competitive assessments to help inform investment decisions
Develop a deep understanding of key US Defence programs and the impact to Rolls-Royce Group
Use the art and science of strategy to solve complex business problems
Support development of formal recommendations to Executive Team members
