About The Position

Under broad direction, guides team through the strategic sourcing process to determine the optimum solution for internal customer needs based on market capabilities. Analyzes, develops and leads the implementation of the global sourcing strategy for designated projects usually lasting for six to nine months. The team lead will be responsible for the reduction of Total Cost of Ownership without compromising business strategy. Spend sourced annually for this role will typically be complex in nature and comprise of 100+ million (US dollars). Manages data analysis, cost modeling, and RF(x) development on spend for designated projects; leads the team through processes to conduct internal needs analysis; determines optimum supplier solutions; selects strategic suppliers and negotiates agreements. Develops and executes implementation plans to ensure the successful implementation of sourcing strategy. Job role contributes directly to value creation.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or similar discipline.
• Minimum of 5-8 years related experience in strategic sourcing, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, field operations and/or project management.

Nice To Haves

• Certification as a Supply Chain Professional is preferred.
• SAP and Microsoft Excel knowledge preferred.
