RSM US LLP is actively searching to add a Travel Operations Senior Associate to our firm's Strategic Sourcing team! The Travel Operations Senior Associate is responsible for supporting the firm’s global travel program through travel support, operational process improvement, reporting, policy compliance, and vendor management. This role serves as a key liaison between travelers, the firm’s travel management company, and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless and cost-effective travel experience while maintaining adherence to firm policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or the equivalent through a combination of education or work experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot
  • Can-do approach and problem-solver who can respond quickly, concisely, and expeditiously
  • 3-5 years travel experience
  • Experience negotiating contract terms and conditions, recognizing specific needs for travel provider contracts
  • Proven cost-benefit experience and savings in travel negotiations
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and with vendors
  • Exceptional listening skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the firm's day-to-day travel program, ensuring seamless execution of travel policies, processes, and services as well as a positive traveler experience.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for travelers, arrangers, and key stakeholders, providing guidance and resolving inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Partner closely with the Travel Management Company (TMC) to address booking, ticketing, and traveler servicing issues, driving efficient and effective resolutions.
  • Support preferred supplier relationships (airline, hotel, ground transportation, meal, and other travel)
  • Support guest travel for interview candidates, pre-employment hires, and expats
  • Other duties as assigned
