As a global engineering, project delivery, and professional services firm, we support some of the world's most complex energy, infrastructure, and mining projects. We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our Procurement team. In this role, you will develop and execute sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and drive value across a diverse portfolio of direct and indirect spend categories. You will collaborate closely with engineering, project teams, and business stakeholders to support both corporate procurement initiatives and major capital projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or purchasing
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship management skills
  • Experience leading competitive sourcing events and contract negotiations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate spend, costs, and market trends

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting engineering, construction, infrastructure, mining, or industrial projects is considered an asset
  • Professional procurement designation (SCMP, CPSM, CPM, MCIPS) is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies across multiple spend categories
  • Analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost savings and value opportunities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to build sourcing plans and business cases
  • Lead supplier evaluations, RFx processes, contract negotiations, and supplier selection
  • Manage strategic supplier relationships and performance reviews
  • Support risk management, contract administration, and supplier issue resolution
  • Monitor procurement market conditions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Provide procurement support for capital projects, including purchasing, tendering, contract awards, expediting, and supplier management
