As a global engineering, project delivery, and professional services firm, we support some of the world's most complex energy, infrastructure, and mining projects. We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our Procurement team. In this role, you will develop and execute sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and drive value across a diverse portfolio of direct and indirect spend categories. You will collaborate closely with engineering, project teams, and business stakeholders to support both corporate procurement initiatives and major capital projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or purchasing
Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship management skills
Experience leading competitive sourcing events and contract negotiations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate spend, costs, and market trends

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting engineering, construction, infrastructure, mining, or industrial projects is considered an asset
Professional procurement designation (SCMP, CPSM, CPM, MCIPS) is considered an asset

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies across multiple spend categories
Analyze spend data and market trends to identify cost savings and value opportunities
Partner with internal stakeholders to build sourcing plans and business cases
Lead supplier evaluations, RFx processes, contract negotiations, and supplier selection
Manage strategic supplier relationships and performance reviews
Support risk management, contract administration, and supplier issue resolution
Monitor procurement market conditions and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Provide procurement support for capital projects, including purchasing, tendering, contract awards, expediting, and supplier management
