About The Position

Manages the planning and project management of procurement events for all Roswell entities. Provides business and process guidance to internal customers, business needs analysis, total cost analysis, contract negotiations, supplier relations and supply category management; educates business owners within the organization on the RP and New York State procurement policies, establishes a business case, business plan and Return on Investment (ROI) on purchases; negotiates total value with suppliers to include total cost, price, utilization improvements and business terms; Oversees Service lines including but not limited to Research, Clinical, Lab, Nursing, Perioperative Services and Imaging. Starting salary is $106,898.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance or a related field and four (4) years of progressive supply chain experience including business analysis, negotiations and category management; or
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance or a related field and six (6) years of progressive supply chain experience including business analysis, negotiations and category management.
  • Incumbents must obtain and maintain a certification as a Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.); Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM); or a related certifications from the Institute of Supply Management or the Association for Supply Management (aka APICS) within one (1) year of appointment to this title as a condition of continued employment.
  • Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
