About The Position

The Strategic Sourcing Manager, Retail Operations & Facilities develops effective business partner relationships and provides enterprise-level strategic sourcing support to Sephora and its Store Operations and Facilities business units. The role develops and implements sourcing and category management strategies and uses the Source-to-Contract process to deliver measurable value and savings across store supplies, asset protection services, and facilities. The manager contributes to the growth of Sephora’s Sourcing team and processes while delivering service and value to internal stakeholders. The role leads end-to-end strategic sourcing projects, from supply-market profiling and business requirements gathering through RFI/RFX events, award decisions, negotiations, contracts, and handoffs to business partners. It supports business partners with sourcing objectives and supplier needs, manages assigned contracts, assists with relevant negotiations, and prepares deal summaries for senior leader approval. The manager also builds category strategies and sourcing roadmaps, optimizes supplier capabilities at national and regional levels, and identifies spend leverage opportunities across the US, Canada, Sephora Global, and LVMH.

Requirements

5+ years of successful experience across end-to-end strategic sourcing engagements.
5+ years of sourcing experience with retail store and facilities categories across goods and services.
Experience negotiating enterprise agreements typical of assigned categories, such as master services agreements and statements of work, in a timely manner.
Advanced analytics, Excel, PowerPoint presentation, data visualization, and sourcing tools skills.
Hands-on experience with employee collaboration, procure-to-pay, e-RFX, and contract lifecycle management software.
Excellent project and timeline management skills.
Proven track record of cost reduction, productivity improvements, and building strong cross-functional relationships.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Operations, or equivalent experience.
Sourcing experience with a North American retail store organization.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing projects, including supply-market profiling, gathering stakeholder requirements, running RFI/RFX events with sourcing technology, building consensus on awards, negotiating with suppliers, finalizing contracts, and handing awarded business to business partners.
Support business partners’ sourcing objectives and supplier needs through the Intake-to-Contract process.
Assist with contract negotiations for relevant categories and act as lead for assigned contracts.
Summarize negotiation results in deal summaries for senior leader approval.
Develop comprehensive category strategies and understand supply markets to optimize supplier capabilities nationally and regionally.
Build strategic sourcing roadmaps in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Identify and optimize spend opportunities across departments in the US and Canada, Sephora Global, and LVMH to reduce total costs.
Support the Director of Strategic Sourcing with broader retail operations and facilities requirements.
