About The Position

The Strategic Sourcing Manager develops and executes enterprise category strategies for metals, fabricated components, and finishing services that support MCG product platforms, including low- and medium-voltage switchgear and switchboards, e-houses, skids, and other engineered power solutions. The role builds regional supply capacity, implements index-based commodity pricing and risk models, improves cost transparency, conducts should-cost and total cost of ownership analyses, mitigates commodity and supply risks, and reduces material, fabrication, and logistics lead times across assigned categories. This is a high-impact individual contributor position with the authority, visibility, and executive presence expected of a senior sourcing leader. The position owns more than $100 million in direct material spend and serves as MCG's commercial leader and subject-matter expert for assigned categories, including structural steel, copper, fabricated metals and weldments, machining, coatings, finishes, freight, and logistics services.
