Requirements

Comprehensive knowledge of sourcing strategies and supply chain concepts.
Bachelor’s degree. Concentration in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related discipline preferred.
Typically requires 6+ years of sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience including leadership responsibilities.
Strategic sourcing and procurement leadership.
Supplier negotiations and contract management.
Supplier performance and risk management.
Cost reduction and sourcing optimization strategies.
Procurement compliance and sourcing governance.
Supplier relationship and category management.
Cross-functional sourcing coordination.
Leadership and employee development.
Operational analysis and supplier scorecard management.
Proficient Computer Skills – Microsoft Office and procurement systems.
Excellent Communication Skills – both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements strategic sourcing initiatives to support organizational goals related to cost, quality, service, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
Leads supplier selection, sourcing strategies, contract negotiations, work transfer efforts, and supplier relationship management activities.
Partners with operations, engineering, quality, finance, business development, contracts, and leadership teams to optimize supplier performance, reduce risk, and support long-term supply chain strategies.
Evaluates current sourcing strategies and suppliers by commodity and creates long term strategic plans that align with company goals.
Ensures effective sourcing strategies supporting quality, cost, and operational objectives.
Manages supplier contracts and agreements.
Drives improved supplier performance, risk management, and procurement efficiency.
Achieves cost reduction, supplier consolidation, and strategic sourcing improvements.
Establishes reliable supplier selection and relationship management processes.
Ensures compliance with procurement standards, policies, and sourcing requirements.
Provides strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
Facilitates cross-functional alignment supporting organizational sourcing and supply chain goals.
