The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness, supplier quality, and risk mitigation across direct material categories. The role has a primary focus on electronics and technology-related commodities, including PCBAs, electronic components, semiconductors, SSDs, servers, computing hardware, and cable harnesses, which represent the organization's most strategic and technically complex spend areas. This position leads supplier selection, negotiations, cost reduction initiatives, capacity planning, and technology roadmaps with key electronics manufacturing services (EMS) providers and component suppliers. The Strategic Sourcing Manager collaborates closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance to support new product introductions (NPI), supply continuity, and long-term business growth. While the primary emphasis is on electronics and server-related technologies, the role also supports sourcing initiatives across additional material categories, including metals, hardware, plastics, and electromechanical assemblies, as business needs require. The position is expected to drive supplier performance, strengthen strategic supplier partnerships, and deliver sustainable value through cost, quality, innovation, and risk management.
