About The Position

The Strategic Sourcing Manager - Professional Services & HR leads strategic sourcing initiatives, commercial negotiations, and supplier management across Professional Services and HR Services categories. The role supports categories such as consulting services, contingent workforce, talent acquisition, employee benefits, learning and development, and other knowledge-based services. Using category expertise, market intelligence, and stakeholder management, the manager serves as a trusted advisor and supports supplier performance, contractual compliance, and alignment with business objectives. The position develops and executes category strategies, manages complex sourcing events, negotiates contracts and commercial terms, and builds strategic supplier relationships. It partners with HR, business leaders, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Procurement stakeholders to identify opportunities and deliver value-driven solutions. The role also analyzes spend and market information, pursues savings and performance improvements, and ensures adherence to procurement policies, regulatory requirements, risk standards, and contractual obligations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Human Resources, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
At least 4 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, consulting, or commercial roles.
Experience sourcing and managing one or more Professional Services and/or HR Services categories in a corporate procurement, consulting, procurement services, or shared services environment.
Experience supporting sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, RFx activities, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
Demonstrated ability to manage supplier evaluations, commercial negotiations, and sourcing projects that deliver measurable business value.
Strong understanding of supplier relationship management, service levels, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and risk mitigation principles.

Nice To Haves

Professional procurement certifications are advantageous.
Experience working within global and matrix organizations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives across Professional Services and HR Services categories, including consulting, contingent workforce, talent acquisition, employee benefits, and learning and development.
Develop and execute category strategies to optimize cost, quality, service delivery, supplier performance, and risk management while supporting business and workforce objectives.
Partner with Human Resources, business leaders, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Procurement stakeholders to identify sourcing opportunities and deliver value-driven procurement solutions.
Manage sourcing events, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, competitive bidding, and commercial negotiations.
Negotiate contracts, pricing structures, service level agreements, and commercial terms while ensuring appropriate contractual protections.
Provide category expertise and market intelligence to support sourcing strategies, supplier selection, negotiations, and stakeholder decisions.
Establish and maintain strategic supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, manage scorecards, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
Analyze spend, market trends, supplier capabilities, and benchmarking data to identify savings opportunities and support category planning.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulatory requirements, risk management standards, and contractual obligations, and advise on sourcing best practices.
