About The Position
We're looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager, Labs, to lead and evolve the sourcing strategy for our national lab supplies category. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of procurement strategy, operational execution, and vendor partnership. You will own the labs category end-to-end, driving supplier strategy, pricing governance, formulary development, and system optimization to improve cost efficiency, consistency, and service across our lab network. Working closely with lab leadership, operations, finance, and cross-functional partners, you will bring structure, visibility, and strategic discipline to how lab supplies are sourced and managed, supporting the continued growth and operational maturity of Dental Labs Canada. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Proven experience negotiating supplier agreements and managing vendor performance
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with advanced Excel skills
- Experience managing complex spend categories in a multi-site or distributed environment
- Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution

Responsibilities
- Own and lead sourcing strategy for the lab supplies category across Dental Labs Canada
- Develop and execute multi-year category strategies aligned to operational and financial objectives
- Build, maintain, and govern a national lab formulary to drive consistency, quality, and cost control
- Lead national supplier negotiations and manage key vendor relationships
- Establish pricing agreements, rebate structures, and service-level expectations
- Conduct supplier performance reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify and deliver cost savings and value creation opportunities
- Monitor contracts, pricing, and compliance to reduce off-contract purchasing
- Partner with lab and operations leaders to streamline purchasing processes
- Support vendor onboarding, SKU rationalization, and data integrity within Dentira
- Track, analyze, and report on category performance, savings, and supplier metrics
- Collaborate with finance, AP, and operations teams to ensure governance and execution
