About The Position

JLL is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for their Sourcing and Procurement team, managing a national healthcare client portfolio. This role involves executing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring contracting and procurement standards are met. The manager will be a member of the account leadership team and will oversee one direct report. The position requires a blend of strategic thinking and tactical execution, with a focus on building trusted relationships with client stakeholders and driving efficiency and compliance within the supply chain.

Requirements

  • Degree in Purchasing & Supply Chain Management and/or 3+ years of strategic sourcing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a meeting cadence with key client stakeholders and account leadership to build trusted relationships, provide critical thinking, support relationship management, and deliver reporting and data for strategic planning.
  • Develop strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management programs to manage client and account risk, leverage controllable spend, standardize products/services, and rationalize the supplier base.
  • Build and manage staff to meet account deliverables, including recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Ensure SCMP staff perform key functions such as developing sourcing strategies, managing analytics, standardizing supplier agreements, and ensuring compliance with client flow downs and JLL templates.
  • Serve as the primary communication liaison with the client procurement team.
  • Integrate systems and documents across service lines, utilizing a single methodology and repository for risk management and compliance.
  • Engage active diversity and sustainable sourcing programs, developing plans for consistent application and randomly inspecting programs for compliance.
  • Engage service line leadership to develop and execute a vision for a sourcing platform that meets business and client expectations.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships to support high supplier performance and favorable negotiation environments.
  • Document disparate processes and recommend solutions for consistency and risk mitigation.
  • Assess and build detailed sourcing strategies, including objectives, category-spend assessments, and milestone timelines.
  • Execute sourcing plans.
  • Communicate and coordinate national and regional sourcing initiatives with senior managers and project/account personnel.
  • Develop and host supply chain content related training seminars twice a year, focusing on key contract details, compliance challenges, bidding protocols, and organizational support structures.
  • Drive field compliance to sourcing and contracting policies and procedures, identifying and resolving non-compliance in concert with internal audit.
  • Coordinate with Director of Supply Chain Management, Legal, Risk Management, Property, and Project Management groups to ensure consistency in contracts.
  • Conduct Preferred Supplier performance review meetings, manage supplier scorecards, contract compliance, and service obligations.
