Strategic Sourcing Category Specialist
About The Position
Cintas is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Category Specialist to assist Strategic Sourcing Leaders with prospecting, relationship building, and program setup with suppliers in order to uphold Cintas' value propositions. The role executes and administers RFQ and RFP processes with suppliers in accordance with government, corporate, and division policies, providing products consistent with or better than Cintas' cost and schedule needs. It also supports Category Managers in qualifying suppliers for products made internally or through contracted manufacturing, or sourced for distribution to Cintas' customers, and works within the requirements and calendar of the development process.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and with intranet/internet.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of supply chain and/or garment experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist Strategic Sourcing Leaders with supplier prospecting, relationship building, and program setup.
- Execute and administer RFQ and RFP processes with suppliers in accordance with government, corporate, and division policies.
- Help provide products that meet or exceed Cintas' cost and schedule needs.
- Support Category Managers in qualifying suppliers for Cintas products made internally, through contracted manufacturing, or sourced for customer distribution.
- Work within the requirements and calendar of the development process.
