About The Position

The Strategic Sales Representative is responsible for driving new business growth, expanding market presence within the assigned territory, and cultivating strong, long-term relationships with both existing and prospective clients. Additionally, the role will serve as a consultant to customers by leveraging technical product knowledge and expertise in overhead door and dock leveler solutions to recommend tailored offerings that address client needs. Onboarding and role development for this position will be designed and implemented as part of the DuraServ Trailblazer Training Program.

Requirements

  • Skill in delivering responsive, high-quality customer service.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems.
  • Proficient in mechanical skills
  • In-depth knowledge of proactive, outreach, marketing techniques and best practices
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
  • Advanced proficiency (knowledge) with Microsoft Office 365.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Combined experience in Sales and Marketing practices of 5 or more years with education is desirable.
  • Previous experience with complex selling environments, including conducting presentations at the C-suite level.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders within large corporate accounts to drive engagement and long-term partnership growth.
  • Establish strong customer relationships, consistently achieve or surpass sales targets, and provide expert technical consultation to address client needs and optimize solutions.
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach measures, including cold calling and leveraging social media.
  • Prepare estimates for all construction projects and possess a broad understanding of contracts and loading dock design principles.
  • Stay current with the latest technical knowledge and advancements related to overhead doors and associated equipment and perform project management responsibilities for successfully sold jobs.
  • Nurture strong customer relationships by providing expert technical consultation, preparing estimates for construction projects, and performing project management responsibilities for sold jobs to ensure seamless execution.
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities through outreach efforts (e.g., social media, cold calling) and stay current with the latest technical knowledge regarding overhead doors, docks, and associated equipment to effectively support client need.
