Strategic Planning and Operations Senior Manager – US Market Access What you will do The Strategic Planning and Operations Senior Manager is a role in the US Market Access Team (MAT) organization that reports directly to the functional Associate Vice President of MAT. The candidate will frequently interact with numerous Directors/Executive Directors within USV&A and critical cross-functional partners in Human Resources, Law, Medical Affairs, and Finance. Accordingly, the candidate must be able to communicate well with others, lead and manage projects effectively, and motivate and coordinate our team to achieve outcomes in a complicated business. This is a challenging and rewarding role. This position will require you demonstrate key leadership traits to not only elevate our strategic initiatives, but also support the development, coordination and implementation of programs that impact the effectiveness of the MAT organization within USV&A. This includes strategy development and implementation, semester meetings and launches, training initiatives, conference coordination, subscription and vendor management, leadership to schedule and organize speakers and presentations for MAT Townhalls, work with Sales Ops and Incentive comp as needed, field communications, pilot programs, and managing budget/expenses for the MAT organization.

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree in engineering, business management or life science and 2 years of experience in Operations/life science industry OR Master’s degree in engineering, business management or life science and 4 years of experience in Operations/life science industry OR Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management or life science and 6 years of experience in Operations/life science industry OR Associate’s degree & 10 years of experience in Operations/life science OR High school diploma / GED & 12 years of experience in Operations/life science

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior MAT and V&A leadership to develop strategies/priorities and implement successful initiatives/pilots that drive acceleration of appropriate brand utilization.
  • Lead the sharing of insights across USV&A leadership to ensure effective portfolio management as well as inform potential changes to brand strategy.
  • Lead and support cross-functional organizational SLT meetings and facilitate cross-functional alignment and problem-solving on key business issues and opportunities.
  • Oversee our existing commitment to building an outstanding and inclusive culture for the MAT.
  • Support QBRs and monthly MAT LT meetings via the development of agendas, capturing minutes, and action items.
  • Planning and execution of sales meetings including: S1 and S2, as well as the ensure MAT
