Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 3 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience
  • Must meet additional requirements as outlined in ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 (4.3.4) Standard, "Selection, Qualification, and Training of Personnel for Nuclear Power Plants".
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in asset reliability, life-cycle management, equipment aging, and risk-informed decision making.
  • Experience performing economic evaluations, business case development, and capital investment analyses (e.g., DCF, NPV, IRR).
  • Experience utilizing engineering analytics, predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional projects involving Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and Business Operations organizations.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, corrective action programs, performance improvement initiatives, and operating experience application.
  • Advanced degree
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • PMP Certification

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision applying general engineering principles
  • Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, engineering specifications and all regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Recommend format and methodology improvements to standard processes and procedures.
  • Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
