Strategic IT Portfolio Management Intern (Graduate - Summer)
About The Position
You could be the one who changes everything for our 28 million members as an Intern at Centene. During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time. Position Purpose: Learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business. Join a cross-functional team that helps the organization understand how to prioritize from a technology perspective. Gain a strong understanding of how things fit together and understanding the organization from a big picture standpoint. Work cross-functionally to learn more about the broad part of technology departments within the organization Relationship management is nice to have, as this is a visible role within the department Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry and explore various career opportunities Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects Communicate project status and results to staff mentors and management Research various legal, regulatory, and other topics within functional area and industry Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent undergraduate coursework completed.
- Must be enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited university or college in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, or CPT.
