About The Position

This is a Spring 2027 Co-op position for a Strategic Insights Analyst. The role involves working on meaningful, high-impact analytical projects to help MISO understand emerging trends, large-load behaviors (e.g., AI/data center growth), market dynamics, and long-term reliability implications. The insights generated will inform decision-making across the organization. The co-op will contribute to real analyses such as reviewing load forecasts, evaluating emerging risks, producing dashboards, summarizing trends, or supporting cross-team strategic initiatives. The co-op will work alongside a manager and mentor, and connect with a cross-departmental "buddy" to grow their network. They will also learn from industry experts during interactive lunch & learn sessions and participate in community service projects, social events, and networking opportunities. The co-op experience will conclude with a presentation of project findings and recommendations to department leaders and company executives.
