The Strategic Initiatives Program Manager works closely with the Desert, Peaks, and Canyons to lead strategic planning, operational support and implementation, and program management. Caregiver will manage the physician and APP wellbeing program, managing day-to-day operations, developing and implementing strategic initiatives, and partnering with caregiver wellbeing counterparts. This caregiver will also manage efforts to further Intermountain Health’s vision to be a model health system by identifying and pursuing external opportunities to share our best practices and findings for physician and APP experience and wellbeing with other organizations. In support of the Enterprise Physician & APPs Well-being and Experience medical directors specifically, the caregiver will lead strategic planning, manage communications processes and plans, and manage operational improvement efforts in collaboration with clinical and operational leads. This caregiver will also support physician and APP leader development, and partner with leaders and teams across the enterprise to improve experience for physicians and APPs in value-based care model. Work will primarily focus on Enterprise initiatives and may also extend to Desert, Canyons & Peaks at large to support all employed and affiliate physician and APP experience and wellbeing needs, as well as ad hoc projects identified by the Medical directors and executive sponsor. Work is broad in scope and will involve system-level coordination with multiple markets or regions, facilities, sites, service lines, and departments. Caregiver will collaborate with operational leaders, employed and affiliated medical staff, advanced practice providers, residents, fellows, agencies, caregivers, and community partners to implement wellbeing, operational, and experience improvement strategies. This caregiver will work with multiple responsibilities simultaneously, balancing longer-term strategies with the urgency of immediate demands. This caregiver will create and manage goals, objectives, measures, and targets for all initiatives and programs with consultation and approval from the Medical Directors. This caregiver manages key performance indicators, interprets data with an eye toward creating value for key stakeholders, collaborates effectively across organizational boundaries, champions working together, creates synergy, efficiency and effectiveness, and confronts conflict situations in a direct and honest manner. This caregiver will coach and advise organizational leaders to improve experience and engagement for caregivers, physicians, and APPs. This position will manage continuous improvement efforts from pilot to implementation by leading project and change management, collaborating with stakeholders, sharing learnings and developing with communications to diverse audiences and stakeholder groups. The caregiver will own and manage project deliverables, scope and content for assigned projects, and assist in deliverable completion. This includes preparing materials to inform and propose recommendations such as presentations and summary reports.
