Emerge seeks a full-time Strategic Information Advisor/Data Analyst to work with the US Department of Defense, Defense Health Agency/Department of Defense (DoD) HIV/AIDS Prevention Program (DHAPP) in San Diego, CA. DHAPP is a dynamic global HIV/AIDS program working to curb HIV/AIDS in the militaries of foreign countries. This individual will be a member of the Strategic Information Branch and will support the collection, management, analysis, and use of strategic information data in order to monitor, manage, and improve DHAPP programs. The incumbent will provide in-person and virtual technical assistance and capacity development to DHAPP Headquarters and country-based staff, military partners, and implementing partners in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), program quality monitoring, data analytics, and use of health information systems. The incumbent will provide support to a portfolio of countries, supporting stakeholders in the effective use of strategic information for planning and programmatic decision-making, and developing M&E and other data-related strategies for HIV/AIDS programs.
