About The Position

The Strategic Funding & Development Manager is responsible for managing grants writing, compliance, and development opportunities, as well as overseeing contract management for the organization. The Manager also holds responsibility for creating and maintaining partnerships with funders and philanthropic entities.

  • Must provide meticulous attention to detail to meet compliance requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish strong working relationships, both internally and externally, and to communicate effectively and in a confidential manner.
  • Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills, including prior experience writing approved grant/funding applications.
  • Advanced skills/experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe.

Responsibilities

  • Write and review grant applications and proposals, including drafting clear project narratives and collecting any supporting documents.
  • Compile and submit all documents necessary to request, maintain, and finalize completion of funding opportunities, in accordance with funder requirements and PrimeCare policies.
  • Collaborate with finance team and external parties relating to grants oversight and individual funding requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with, and manage report completion for, by example only, 330/HRSA grant funding, FTCA coverage, Office of Pharmacy Affairs compliance, and other state and federal programs.
  • Develop and maintain a funder database and provide monthly summaries to the CEO.
  • Coordinate with members of the leadership team to identify potential funding opportunities and to prioritize the opportunities that support further growth and development for PrimeCare.
  • Build and cultivate relationships in the philanthropic community.
  • Establish contact lists and complete outreach to external parties for funding and/or fundraising opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a funding plan for the organization.
  • Monitor and administer budget, work plans, and reports.
  • Supervise and provide oversight to grants/development staff.
