Strategic Finance Manager

Metro Vein CentersWest Bloomfield, MI
$120,000 - $125,000Hybrid

About The Position

Metro Vein Centers is a rapidly growing healthcare practice specializing in state-of-the-art vein treatments. Our board-certified physicians and expert staff are on a mission to improve people’s quality of life by relieving the painful, yet highly treatable symptoms of vein disease—such as varicose veins and heavy, aching legs. With over 60 clinics across 7 states, and still growing, we’re building the future of vein care—delivering compassionate, results-driven care in a modern, patient-first environment. We proudly maintain a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 93, the highest patient satisfaction in the industry. As the Strategic Finance Manager, you will be a key architect of our financial future. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, you will sit at the intersection of Finance, Accounting, and Operations. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role designed for a sharp, analytical professional who wants to own the corporate forecast model from the ground up and provide the strategic insights that drive our clinic-level performance. You will work closely with the Chief of Staff, CFO, CEO, and Controller to bridge the gap between monthly bookkeeping and long-term strategic planning.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience: 1–4 years of experience in Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Accounting, FP&A, or a hybrid Accounting/Finance role. We value talent over years of service - if you are sharp, technical, and ready to own financial processes, we want to talk to you.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills - you should be comfortable building and auditing complex financial models.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to not just report the "what," but explain the "why" behind the numbers.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present financial data to executive leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Forecasting & Modeling: Take ownership of the newly developed internal corporate financial forecast model. You will update clinic-level and corporate forecasts monthly, performing deep-dive comparisons of actuals vs. budget to identify trends and variances.
  • Clinic-Level Profitability: Act as the lead for our clinical footprint. You will collaborate across teams to maintain financials, enhance profitability models, and provide actionable performance analysis for each location.
  • Monthly Financial Reporting: Assist the CFO and Controller with the monthly close process. You will ensure the transition from "closing the books" to "analyzing the data" is seamless, helping to produce high-level monthly financial packages.
  • Accounts Receivable Analysis: Maintain and refresh the A/R model monthly. You will partner with the CFO and the Revenue Cycle Management team to support revenue calculations and ensure our cash flow is accurate.
  • Operational & Inventory Management: Partner with the Chief of Staff on the operational side of the business. This includes managing monthly inventory financials and coordinating with vendors to optimize spend and supply chain efficiency.
  • Overall Strategy and Process Improvement: As our forecasting function is in its early stages, you will have the autonomy to build, refine, and automate processes to improve financial visibility across the organization.
