$140,000 - $175,000Hybrid

About The Position

Alloy is seeking a Strategic Finance & FP&A Manager to lead high-priority financial projects aimed at driving rapid growth, guiding company strategy, and creating long-term value. This is a player-coach role where the individual will be involved in forecasting and strategic framing for the executive team. The role offers the opportunity to own critical workstreams, build planning processes from the ground up, collaborate with the executive team, and work cross-functionally to manage risks and identify opportunities. This is a high-impact position responsible for designing and establishing the FP&A infrastructure for the company's next phase of scale, suitable for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, analytically rigorous, and impact-oriented environment. The role reports to the Director of Finance.

Requirements

  • 4-7 years of relevant work experience, including 2+ years in investment banking, private equity, or strategic finance at a high-growth company
  • A player-coach who thrives at both altitudes: you can dig into the nitty-gritty of a model and then step back to think strategically about what it means for the business
  • Exceptional Excel and financial modeling skills with deep understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to effectively translate data into actionable insights and financial plans
  • Ownership is important to you. You take pride in the quality and impact of your work, and you carry projects from start to finish
  • Exceptional attention to detail. You dig beneath the surface of every number, question assumptions, and are constantly seeking to understand "why."
  • Experience working with modern ERP and HRIS platforms such as NetSuite and Rippling

Responsibilities

  • Own the FP&A process front to back — from data inputs and model mechanics through to the insights and recommendations that reach the executive team
  • Build and stand up core planning processes from scratch, establishing the cadence, structure, and rigor that will scale with the company
  • Develop and maintain our headcount model, opex model, and cash flow forecasts, ensuring rigorous analysis and accuracy
  • Develop and monitor critical financial performance metrics, and translate them into actionable insights for stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations

Benefits

  • Unlimited PTO and flexible work policy
  • Employee stock options
  • Medical, dental, vision plans with HSA (monthly employer contribution) and FSA options
  • 401k with 100% match up to 4% of annual employee compensation
  • Eligible new parents receive 16 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Home office stipend for new employees
