About The Position

We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Executive Communications Specialist to join our team, someone ready to align executive messaging with organizational priorities and deliver results. As an Strategic Communications Specialist, you will directly support senior leaders by developing communication strategies, plans, and polished deliverables tailored to various audiences. Your expertise includes creating impactful executive-level content such as speeches, talking points, briefings, memos, and leadership communications. You will take ownership of building and implementing enterprise-level communications strategies while maintaining messaging matrices to ensure consistent messaging alignment. In addition to developing top-notch deliverables, you’ll support senior leaders with in-person engagements, including conferences, industry events, and strategic meetings at the client’s request. Whether preparing talking points, ensuring messaging aligns with organizational priorities or providing on-site support, your role will be critical in amplifying leadership effectiveness. With a knack for narrative and a meticulous attention to detail, you’ll manage responsibilities in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Requirements

5+ years of experience in a strategic communications or executive communications role
5+ years of experience creating polished deliverables such as talking points, briefings, speeches, memos, background papers, and event preparation materials
Experience supporting senior leadership with in-person engagements at conferences, industry events, and strategic meetings
Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level communication strategies, working directly with senior leaders, and supporting executive-level engagement
Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products
Ability to develop and maintain a messaging matrix to align organizational communications
Ability to work independently, proactively solve problems, and consistently deliver high-quality products in an adaptable and dynamic environment
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting senior leaders in the Department of Defense or other government agencies
Knowledge of emerging communication technologies and the application of AI tools to enhance strategic communications
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Master’s degree
