V2X is seeking qualified personnel to provide Strategic Planning exercise support services to the United States Army Joint Modernization Command (USAJMC) at Fort Bliss. These positions are crucial for supporting experiment exercises for the Army and partner nations, ensuring effective training readiness for current and future operations. Historically, the JMC program delivers strategic expert analysis, planning, and assessments for Live Field Experiments (LFEs) such as Joint Warfighting Assessments (JWAs) and Project Convergences (PCs), as well as Scalable Assessments and Experiments (SAEs) exercises. The Contractor will collaborate with the USAJMC Operations Office to collect, analyze, and synthesize relevant training requirements from the Training and Doctrine Command’s (TRADOC) Strategic Plan. This information will be used to provide recommendations for developing the USAJMC Campaign Plan (CAMPLAN), aiming to improve the execution of future LFE and SAE event cycles and prepare for subsequent cycles. The Strategic Communications Planner plays a vital role in fostering institutional learning and supporting the broader modernization enterprise by compiling After Action Review data into comprehensive reports and preparing talking points and strategic presentations for government customers.

Requirements

  • Two years’ experience integrating a Joint, Live, Virtual and Constructive federation that includes Coalition and Joint Forces
  • Two years’ experience in Brigade level and higher Joint exercise planning
  • Five years of directly related experience
  • Works extended and irregular hours, to include weekends, during periods of rotational experiment exercise support
  • SECRET Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Former U.S. Army or Marine Corps Field Grade officer or Contractor with experience working Army experimentation exercises
  • Graduate of the US Army Command and General Staff College or a US Service or US National War College
  • Proficiency in all MS Office applications and ability to operate a computer for an extended period of time
  • Strong oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

Responsibilities

  • Provide Strategic Planning exercise support services to the United States Army Joint Modernization Command (USAJMC), Fort Bliss.
  • Provide experiment exercise support to the Army and partner nations to ensure the effectiveness of training readiness of current and future operations.
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize relevant training requirements identified within the Training and Doctrine Command’s (TRADOC) Strategic Plan.
  • Provide recommendations for development of the USAJMC Campaign Plan (CAMPLAN) to enhance the execution of future LFE and SAE event cycles and set conditions planned for the following year’s LFE and SAE event cycle.
  • Enable institutional learning and the broader modernization enterprise by collating After Action Review data into reports.
  • Prepare talking points and strategic presentations for government customers.
  • Participate in meetings and conferences as directed by the government customer or the Task Order Manager.
