About The Position

As a communications advisor, you’ll directly impact the development of creative strategic communications solutions. You will shape relationships with team members and clients to facilitate the adoption of cyber workforce strategies, policies, and programs while helping the Department of War (DoW) remain an employer of choice among cyber professionals. You will manage a dynamic team in a fast-paced client environment to develop compelling written and visual communications in support of DoW campaigns. You’ll oversee the development of key strategic communications products that clearly convey critical information to recruit, develop, and retain top cyber talent. Work with us as we implement DoW cyber workforce initiatives to change mission success for the better.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience providing strategic communications expertise
  • Experience designing and implementing communication strategies or campaigns and delivering communication products for audiences using multiple communication channels
  • Experience with social media and digital marketing
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher
  • Knowledge of DoW-enterprise or Component-level communication channels
  • Ability to build client relationships and communicate effectively with senior leaders
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Public Relations, or a relevant field
