The Strategic Buyer will manage the supplier lifecycle, develop and implement procurement strategies for local and global markets, and lead supplier negotiations for pricing, terms, and contracts. This role involves implementing and managing supplier agreements, renewals, and commercial compliance. The position also focuses on analytics and cost management, translating data into actionable insights for cost savings and inventory optimization, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and performing scenario analysis for supply chain risks. Supplier performance management, including scorecards and business reviews, is a key responsibility. The Strategic Buyer will also collaborate cross-functionally on supplier onboarding, facilitate proof/first article reviews, and manage vendor activities within an ERP system. General responsibilities include using ERP/SAP systems, exercising good judgment, and adhering to safety and operational policies. This role may require up to 20% travel to local and global locations. Errors or negligence could significantly impact the company's ability to meet internal and external customer expectations.
