About The Position

CGI Federal is seeking candidates for a Strategic and Organizational Planning (SOP) Analyst to support a USG client in Northern Virginia. Successful candidates in this role will provide end to end resource management process and executive program support for an operational component of the USG agency. This position is located in Springfield, VA. Your future duties and responsibilities: In support of the component's executive leadership, develop and evolve documents and engagement for strategy, program overviews, policy and implementation goals for stakeholders, users and leadership external to the component. Provide expertise, best practices and practical solutions to develop and execute a program management plan across efforts and implement strategy for program success. Integrate the USG agency's engagement strategy as part of the overall requirements management strategy for the department. Support the development, implementation and execution of governance requirements to enable strategic priorities. Support all facets of effort to develop and execute strategy and change to achieve the goals and objectives as set by the executive leadership. Engage across organization and management levels to provide recommendations for business process improvements, support the transition and integration of improvements. Support the development of strategic technical roadmaps to codify the implementation of organizational strategic goals and objectives. Support cross-agency engagement activities to codify metrics and measures of effectiveness and provide fulsome and holistic responses to internal and externally directed taskers.

Requirements

  • A Top Secret clearance with polygraph.
  • Ten (10) years of experience supporting the IC performing work specific to strategic planning and priorities, providing recommendations to align organizational framework with the agency goals, crafting policy and/or governance documents and coordinating the formalization of said documents into policy.
  • Demonstrated experience in the application and interpretation of IC and national level policies.
  • Demonstrated experience working the full-life cycle of strategic planning and policy development, interpretation and implementation within the IC (comprised of +20 units focused on policy and relevant stakeholder).
  • Demonstrated experience with the IC's policies and regulations for managing IC unique operations and activities within its governance, policy framework(s) and standard operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability in assessing requests for information, tactical needs and strategic objectives, performing analysis, making recommendations to peers, management and leadership on implications, actions and additional considerations.
