Job Description: Job Summary The Strategic Accounts Specialist is responsible for project execution and support of customer-facing procurement systems to maintain seamlines communication for product ordering and distribution. This role is accountable to respond to complex inquiries and service issues, ensuring prompt resolution through effective partnership with customers and internal cross-functional teams. In addition, this role provides consultation on business presentations, data reporting, master data needs, etc. Essential Functions Project manage the connectivity integration experience and ongoing up-time of customer-facing ordering mediums (i.e., procurement systems, ecommerce, etc.); establish relationships with key customer decision makers and cross-functional internal partnerships to drive solution development efforts for timely resolution Engage with customers to address inquiries and requests (i.e., calls, shared email inboxes, customer procurement/service requests); determine appropriate stakeholders and manage orders to ensure contract timelines and customer customization needs are met Work with management and key business partners to develop customer business presentations and reporting; provide guidance to build reports (i.e., data fields, systems, graphs) Build and enable customer product ordering needs, and work with management to ensure appropriate product, service and merchandise support, to include product packages, formularies, technical service, rate setting, ordering, billing, etc. Accountable for master data management needs of assigned customer groups; facilitate or maintain changes related to account additions/removals, program assignment updates, and enablement of new accounts Monitor sales trends to ensure purchasing compliance and services meet customer expectations and contract terms; address any potential concerns with key customer decision-makers Advise management of any breakdown in communication impacting sales or service; identify gaps and manage corrective actions accordingly Provide support for defined business goals to grow partnerships; assist with key objectives and participate in Strategic Accounts goals and initiatives Comply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent education and/or experience
  • 3 years experience in business or related areas
  • 2 years experience working with customer in B2B environment
  • Proven relationship building skills; ability to independently identify key internal partnerships and work creatively to develop relationships
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal; must be able to communicate professionally with customers and cross-functionally at various levels throughout the organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities based on customer needs, and effectively track and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
