Requirements

  • BS degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering-related field.
  • 5-8 years relevant account management experience in manufacturing.
  • Exceptional accuracy in high-volume process driven work.
  • Strong written and verbal skills for communicating technical and commercial information.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to keep customers satisfied while maintaining company guidelines.
  • Must be detail oriented and follow issues through to completion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the aerospace industry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Attends daily Production Meeting to communicate priorities and get updates on incoming orders
  • Chases for updates regularly if he doesn't get a response
  • Escalates to upper management if we don't get timely support
  • Prepares for weekly customer calls and leads the meeting
  • Fills out the RAIL files accordingly
  • Communicates when parts will be late and provides a recovery date
  • Sends out a "Ship List" each week detailing planned releases
  • Details which parts can't ship due to SPS, Quality Requirements, Past Due, etc.
  • Reviews order changes in customer MRP systems and adjust changes using Exception Report
  • Manages orderbook with Production Control based off capacity constraints, maintains weekly commits on PWA, PWC and GE portals
  • Travels w/ sales team and PMs on customer visits in key territories, attends supplier forums and QBR’s for P&W and GE
  • Six Sigma Green Belt, NPI and Audit team training
  • Facilitate the order entry process from beginning to end for assigned customers.
  • Answer technical questions using available resources.
  • Act as liaison between customers and field sales with various departments.
  • Build positive relationship with all major customers.
  • Prepare quotes, status updates and responses for customers.
  • Review purchase orders for accuracy against contracts and quotes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely service and respond quickly and proactively to customer requests.
  • Support and manage weekly orderbook calls with key customers.
  • Track customer orderbook against forecasts, work hand in hand with customers and shortage reports to ensure forecasts align with customer planning.
  • Adept at identifying high-impact actions, and proven record of identifying and resolving key requests efficiency.
