About The Position

As a Strategic Account Manager, your responsibility is to maintain and grow relationships with our key clients while driving revenue growth through expansion and new business. Your role is crucial in ensuring client satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and identifying opportunities for new logos, upselling and cross-selling Caseware’s cloud solutions. You will act as the primary point of contact for our clients, comprehending their business needs and providing strategic solutions to help them achieve their objectives. This position demands exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, as well as a deep understanding of the industry and our clients’ businesses. ❗This is a Full time, permanent position. 📍 Location: This is a remote position and is available to all applicants residing and eligible to work in US.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an account manager selling SAAS products to the US public accounting industry or 3+ years’ experience in assurance services, either as a former auditor or working in a national office/innovation role at a large accounting firm.
  • Ability to query various sources such as Hubspot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Nav to identify opportunities
  • Self-discipline, GSD mentality, and a strong desire to succeed
  • Record of consistent achievement of goals
  • A foundational understanding of technology sales, forecasting, and lead development processes
  • A foundational understanding of accounting and financial processes and technologies
  • Experience or understanding of sales, campaign, and marketing automation solutions
  • Prior experience in inside sales, account management, client success, or client services
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of daily tasks and leads
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders
  • Excellent discovery, listening and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience mapping customer requirements, needs and goals to solution capabilities, benefits and outcomes
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, business management, accounting, finance, or a related field

  • Prior work in the audit and accounting technology industry is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all inquiries, concerns, and escalations.
  • Comprehend clients’ business objectives, challenges, and market trends to provide strategic counsel and solutions that align with their goals.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to evaluate their satisfaction, identify areas for improvement, and uncover opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, working in close collaboration with the Solution Consulting and Product teams to develop account expansion strategies, particularly migration to our cloud solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze client performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement across marketing, sales support and product teams.
  • Remain current with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and market conditions to proactively identify potential risks and opportunities for our clients.
  • Track and report on key account metrics and milestones that push the sales process forward and provide a positive customer experience, such as activity, revenue growth, customer retention, and client satisfaction, to senior management.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and partners to ensure smooth pilot evaluation, project implementation and successful delivery of services.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to build relationships with existing clients and generate new business leads.
  • Manage accurate pipeline and account activity in Salesforce.
