About The Position

Kryterion helps organizations deliver, manage, and grow their certification programs through secure, scalable, and innovative SaaS solutions. Our mission is to empower clients to validate skills, enhance credibility, and prepare their workforce for the future. We're seeking a Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to own and grow a portfolio of enterprise clients. This is a consultative, relationship-driven role where you'll partner with executives and program owners to define certification strategies, demonstrate ROI, and expand adoption across their organizations. You'll serve as a trusted advisor connecting business goals with Kryterion's solutions to deliver measurable outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of enterprise account management, customer success, or consulting experience in SaaS (HR Tech, EdTech, or Compliance preferred).
  • Proven success in renewals, expansions, and long-term account growth.
  • Skilled in engaging multiple stakeholders from program managers to C-level executives.
  • Proficiency with CRM and analytics tools (HubSpot or equivalent) and comfort interpreting client data to inform strategy.
  • Strong business acumen with a data-driven approach to client success.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tell compelling value stories.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in credentialing, certification, or licensure programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with client executives and program leaders.
  • Co-develop certification roadmaps aligned with client business objectives.
  • Create and manage strategic account plans for high-value enterprise clients.
  • Deliver insights and performance updates through dashboards, QBRs, and ROI storytelling.
  • Present strategies, results, and recommendations to both client and Kryterion leadership.
  • Track and deliver on key client success metrics-retention, renewals, churn, and account growth.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Sales to drive adoption and value realization.
  • Identify and execute on expansion opportunities across geographies, functions, and certification programs.
  • Drive upsell of advanced features, analytics, and professional services-including AI-driven workflows.
  • Introduce clients to adjacent offerings within the broader corporate portfolio.
