About The Position

The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for acquiring, growing, and retaining strategic property management customers across North America. The role manages relationships with corporate decision-makers and field-level operators to increase utilization of national service programs while ensuring successful execution through franchise partners. This is a consultative sales role focused on driving customer outcomes rather than transactional selling.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of strategic account management experience, with a proven track record of owning and expanding a multi-million dollar portfolio
  • Success in consultative sales, with the ability to drive aggressive YoY portfolio growth and high customer retention.
  • Exceptional ability to build trust and negotiate across all levels, from C-suite corporate decision-makers to regional and field-level operators.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills to partner effectively with franchise networks, internal operations, and corporate stakeholders for consistent national execution.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce CRM for disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and executing targeted, trigger-event sales campaigns.
  • Ability and willingness to travel across North America for key customer meetings, industry conferences, and events.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a $5M+ portfolio of enterprise Property Management customers across North America, driving both retention and expansion revenue, with growth targets exceeding 50% YoY.
  • Develop strategic account plans that increase customer penetration across regions, ownership groups, business units, and individual communities.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with corporate decision makers, regional operators, and property leaders, positioning our organization as a trusted national partner.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities within existing customer organizations while leveraging referrals, customer endorsements, and industry relationships to generate incremental growth.
  • Lead targeted account-based sales campaigns through Salesforce and coordinated marketing initiatives, activating outreach around customer successes, acquisitions, portfolio changes, budget cycles, peak turn seasons, and other industry trigger events.
  • Partner with franchise sales and operations teams and internal stakeholders to deliver a consistent customer experience, support large-scale initiatives, and ensure successful execution of national programs.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities, accurate forecasts, and disciplined account management practices through Salesforce CRM.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, industry conferences, and key events across North America.
