About The Position

The Strategic Account Manager position is responsible for managing a set of established customers and sales of new products and services offered by the company.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent, or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of computer software including database software, internet software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software.

Responsibilities

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to our customers.
  • Ensure the satisfactory implementation/installation/utilization of services.
  • Assist in the identification and recognition of new business development opportunities.
  • Assist Sales Representatives with pre-sales and post-sales activities such as proving product information and answering product questions and inquiries.
  • Assist sales lead generation activities and maintain a database of qualified sales leads.
  • Address customer issues through our proprietary task tracking tool.
  • Load appropriate data regarding customer contacts, follow ups, and tasks into our customer database tracking tool.
  • Prepare and execute quarterly customer account reviews.
  • Understand level of adoption and assess the risk of renewing existing contracts.
  • Introduce new features and best practices to customers.
  • Track and report on key metrics surrounding customer success.
  • Lead efforts to turn around customers that are at a risk of leaving our services.
  • Maintain renewal list monthly.
  • Provide guidance when needed to sales and customer success teams with respect to post sales contractual negotiations and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
