About The Position

Beasley Group is seeking a dependable and safety-oriented Strapper Operator to join our production team in Hazlehurst, Georgia. The Strapper Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring automatic and manual strapping equipment to securely bundle finished products for storage and shipment. This role is critical to maintaining product quality, workplace safety, and production efficiency.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience operating industrial machinery is a plus.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push, pull, and move bundled products as needed.
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor industrial environments with varying temperatures.
  • Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, steel-toed boots, and other required safety gear.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification is a plus or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

  • Operate automatic and manual strapping equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Securely strap finished products according to company specifications and customer requirements.
  • Inspect bundles to ensure straps are properly applied, tight, and free of defects.
  • Monitor strapping equipment during operation and make necessary adjustments to maintain production flow.
  • Replace strapping materials and supplies as needed.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance.
  • Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
  • Assist with staging, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipping or storage.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations.
