About The Position

This Entry-Level Straighter role is the perfect launchpad for a long-term career in manufacturing. We provide paid training, making this an ideal opportunity for a motivated individual with a natural mechanical aptitude and a "how-it-works" mindset to get their foot in the door. This position serves as a starting point within our facility, designed for someone with a strong desire to master the fundamentals and advance into other roles across the shop floor.

Requirements

• Desire to learn a new skill in manufacturing
• Ability to clearly communicate with supervisors, verbally and written
• Attention to detail
• Able to read basic blue prints
• Minimum High School Diploma or trade school
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Ability to sit or stand up to 10 hours per day
• Must be able to work 40+ hours per week
• Sufficient verbal and written communication skills
• Good problem solving skills
• U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required

Responsibilities

• Learn how to use tools and gages to straighten machined parts and bar stock
• Read work instructions and perform tasks accordingly
