In this role, you'll do more than drive. You'll provide outstanding customer service, ensure accurate deliveries, and help keep restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, and other foodservice operators supplied with the products they need every day. No CDL needed, just a regular Driver's License! Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
- Dependability and consistent attendance.
Nice To Haves
- Previous delivery, driving, or customer service experience preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company straight truck while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries along established routes.
- Conducting daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and safety checks in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Verifying route information, invoices, and loaded products before departure.
- Delivering and unloading food products at customer locations using hand trucks and dollies.
- Verifying deliveries, obtaining customer signatures, and collecting payments when required.
- Communicating with management regarding delivery discrepancies, returns, or customer concerns.
- Maintaining accurate DOT logs, vehicle reports, and delivery documentation.
- Working closely with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Providing exceptional customer service and representing Upper Lakes Foods in a professional manner at every stop.
