About The Position

Rolling Rockstar Transit is seeking a Straight Truck Driver responsible for the safe and timely transfer of material between locations in Michigan, Indiana, Kansas, North Carolina, Ohio, and Tennessee. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with minimal weekend work and avoids challenging highways like CA and NY. The company is a family-owned natural stone company that prioritizes employee experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 22 years old
• Valid Class-B CDL with minimum of 2 year experience
• No DUI in the past 5 years
• No more than 3 moving violations within 12 months
• Experience securing non-standard loads
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Ability to adapt to varying work environments
• Ability to lift all necessary equipment (Straps, chains, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Safe and timely transfer of material between locations
• Communicate effectively with company leadership
• Complete pre and post trip inspections
• Prepare trailer for loading and unloading
• Secure loads once trailer has been loaded
• Operate Moffett truck mounted forklift to load and unload material
• Complete and deliver any necessary paperwork
• Serve as backup material handler in warehouse
• Any other duties as assigned by Leadership
