About The Position

Fry’s Food Stores, a part of The Kroger Company, is seeking a Front-End Department Leader to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. This role involves establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment, achieving performance goals, and driving the department to reach sales and profit targets. The leader will monitor quality assurance standards, direct all functions and activities for the Front-End department, and ensure the execution of best practices and standards. A key aspect of this role is demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return.
  • Achieve the Front-end performance goals and best practices.
  • Drive the department in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department.
  • Monitor all established quality assurance standards.
  • Direct and supervise all functions, duties and activities for the Front-end department.
  • Direct the day-to-day functions of Front-end operations.
  • Responsible for the execution of best practices, goals and Front-end standards established for the department.
  • Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
