Stormwater Erosion Inspector - Charlotte, NC
About The Position
Path Light Pro is seeking a full-time Stormwater Erosion Inspector in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role involves conducting stormwater, erosion, and safety evaluations at construction sites and communicating findings and management challenges to clients’ onsite personnel. Inspectors document evaluations using electronic systems and onsite stormwater or safety log books, while maintaining professional relationships with clients and communicating promptly with their supervisor. The position offers independent outdoor work, travel opportunities, in-house training, and does not require previous inspection experience.
Requirements
- No previous inspection experience is required.
- Knowledge of general construction is a plus.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to walk up and down inclines and on uneven land or ground.
- Must have dependable transportation.
- Hard-working, with a teachable personality.
- Positive team player.
- Must be able to travel and work at remote sites.
- Must have full range of mobility in the upper and lower body and be able to reach overhead.
- Must be able to walk, stoop, stand, bend, sit, kneel, and squat for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds frequently during the workday if necessary.

Responsibilities
- Conduct construction site evaluations for stormwater, erosion, and safety.
- Maintain positive working relationships with clients.
- Complete site evaluation documentation in electronic systems and onsite stormwater or safety log books.
- Communicate construction stormwater and safety issues to clients’ onsite personnel.
- Communicate timely and professionally with the immediate supervisor and clients to support efficient operations.
- Use problem-solving skills to provide solutions to stormwater and safety management challenges during construction.
- Learn new skills in the construction stormwater and safety management industry.
