Kitsap County is seeking a dynamic professional to lead high-impact communications, public engagement, and strategic outreach for the Stormwater Division. This role is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned communications, marketing, or public engagement expert who thrives in a mission-driven environment and is ready to guide innovative programs that make a measurable difference in community behavior and environmental health. Working collaboratively with the Communications team and staff across the organization, the Stormwater Education & Outreach Analyst leads communications for the Stormwater Division by developing engaging written and visual content that informs and educates internal and external audiences while aligning with the County’s brand standards and communication goals. You will also lead regional partnerships and behavior-change initiatives that protect our waters, strengthen community relationships, and increase public understanding of stormwater impacts. The ideal candidate is a proactive and highly organized self-starter with strong visual storytelling and graphic design skills, excellent writing and editing abilities, and demonstrated success managing communications for a large organization. This is a unique opportunity to advance your career while driving countywide and regional influence. Your expertise will directly support environmental stewardship, public trust, and the long-term health of Kitsap County’s waterways, creating meaningful change for today and future generations.
