About The Position

The Stores Clerk is responsible for coordinating and executing all shipping and receiving activities for the Supply Chain department while lending support to the plant where needed. This role ensures that incoming and outgoing materials are processed accurately, safely, and efficiently, supporting production, service, and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate warehouse machinery
  • Strong PC skills and experience with WMS, SAP, MS Office.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Detail-oriented and multitasking skills
  • Capable of standing for long periods, walking, bending, and regular lifting of heavy materials.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Must have a valid Texas Driver License
  • Must be able to pass a background and drug test
  • 1-2 years previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory experience
  • All qualified applicants must be craft certified or possess the ability to pass a craft test, as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and other qualifications as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with radio equipment is preferred
  • Plant/Industrial environment experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage shipments and product orders such as reservations, receipt, returns, damaged claims, and warranty exchanges.
  • Unload deliveries, inspect shipments, verify orders to vendor manifests, tag and label of goods for stakeholders or warehouse inventory stock.
  • Pulling, packing, loading, and fulfilling product orders according to company standards.
  • Collaborate and communicate with cross functional teams to achieve project and customer specific deliverables and goals.
  • Tracks, trace, and update the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, inventory, and cycle count accurately.
  • Troubleshoot critical issues, customer complaints, and invoice block resolutions.
  • Conduct periodic physical cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy
  • Safely operate equipments such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand tools, manual lifts, power drawer systems and other necessary company assigned vehicles.
  • Provides radio-dispatched and deliveries of materials to in-field job sites.
  • General housekeeping of shipping and receiving areas to maintain a clean, organized, hazard free workplace.
