About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining control of all inventory items, managing shipments, stocking inventory, conducting cycle counts, and ensuring compliance with quality assurance procedures. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, while prioritizing safety and security in accordance with OSHA and MSDS Standards. Specific duties may vary and include other tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
3 years of experience in Stores and Traffic (stock room, receiving, packaging and shipping).
Basic computer skills; able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (email/calendar) and Access.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to interface with individuals at all levels of the company.
Ability to consistently maintain a high level of accuracy.
Able to use good judgment to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of tasks.
Problem solving skills to resolve discrepancies in physical inventory and/or documentation.
Detail-oriented with organizational skills.
Math; basic arithmetic, measuring in feet and/or inches (conversions, additions/subtractions).

Nice To Haves

5 years of experience working in Stores and Traffic in the electronics manufacturing industry
General electronic component identification knowledge
Experience with packaging and shipping per DoD / MIL Standards
Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality management standards
Knowledge of ANSI ESD 20.20

Responsibilities

Maintain control of all inventory items purchased and/or produced.
Receive shipments and distribute to appropriate personnel or department.
Stock inventory.
Inspect received shipments for accuracy and physical damage.
Package and ship products, materials and equipment.
Conduct inventory cycle counts / audits.
Manage material shelf life requirements.
Kit work orders.
Fulfill material requests (issue materials from stock).
Perform data entry/transactions for inventory and shipping activities.
Filing various documents.
Ensure compliance with established quality assurance procedures.
Generate and/or assist with processing procedures and forms.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Work well in teams with other department personnel.
Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety and security. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards.
