About The Position

In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Store Room Clerk is responsible for the delivery of supplies and equipment throughout the Health System; checks incoming shipments for completeness and stores freight in approved locations. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read, write do math as generally demonstrated by a high school diploma or GED.
  • Basic numerical skills
  • ability to follow instructions
  • computer literacy
  • excellent verbal and communication skills
  • good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Fills Pyxis and Department Requisitions and delivers supplies throughout the hospital
  • Checks incoming freight for completeness and delivers to appropriate storage areas.
  • Responsible for the correct on hand balance of physical inventory in the storeroom.
  • Safely operates all department equipment.
  • Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
