About The Position

The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee is seeking a Storeroom Clerk to join their Storeroom team. This role is crucial in maintaining the hotel's iconic legacy by ensuring efficient handling of supplies and goods. The Pfister Hotel, built in 1893, is a renowned luxury hotel with a long-standing tradition of gracious service and impeccable style, holding AAA Four Diamond status for over 50 consecutive years. The ideal candidate will be passionate and energetic about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Previous storeroom, warehouse, or receiving experience a plus.
Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Receive, check, and store incoming deliveries of supplies and goods.
Issue items to hotel departments according to requisitions and requests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storeroom area.
Ensure proper rotation of stock and monitor inventory levels.
Assist with monthly inventory counts and reporting.
Follow safety and sanitation procedures when handling goods.
