About The Position

The storeroom clerk will check all incoming goods against delivery invoices, food specifications and purchase records to ensure that the type, amount, price and quality of items charged and ordered are correct and maintain safe, sanitary and organized storage of all items.

Requirements

  • Dynamic365 or procurement system knowledge required.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to operate computer programs such as Windows, Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook.
  • Ability to Read, Write, and communicate in English.
  • Maintain harmonious and professional relationship with co-workers, supervisors, and all departments.
  • Highest level of integrity and transparency
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Reasonable problem-solving skills as it related to storeroom clerk's area of work.
  • Work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
  • At least 1 year experience, and who already possess legal work authorization for employment in the United States.
  • Must be able to read, write and show oral proficiency in the English language.

Responsibilities

  • Comply with Local and Corporate policies, as well as Internal Control and Procedures.
  • Ensure that all requisitions are fulfilled in a timely manner in accordance with Storeroom Hours and Outlet requests.
  • Handle all issues and deliveries of goods to the appropriate department within the hotel including loading and unloading carts and placing in appropriate storerooms.
  • Provide necessary support to Receiving during high volume days.
  • Inspect the physical condition and quality of Food items received to ensure highest quality is accepted.
  • Ensure food items are marked with date of purchase and rotated to ensure FIFO.
  • Complete daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly inventories for Food, Beverage, and Operational needs.
  • Complete Food, Beverage, and Non-Food Stock replenishment as required and raise Purchase Order for Director of Purchasing approvals.
  • Assist with regular cleaning and re-organization of Storerooms.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by Purchasing leadership.
